Mario Bazán Reserve 6-Pack
2014 Mario Bazán Coombsville, Reserve
Coombsville is located in the southeast hills of the Napa Valley. Here, the distinctive pink-colored, volcanic Coombsville loam and breezy west-facing slopes create the ideal terroir for ripening Cabernet.
There is more mid-palate texture and ripeness here than in any of the sister wines. Neither angular nor ponderous, ample tannins bestow an interesting set of curves. Lifted cherry and almond aromas tune the expression of Cabernet Sauvignon to one of sun-drenched enjoyment.
2014 Mario Bazán “Family Vineyard”, Napa Valley
100% Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley. Family Estate Vineyard. 14.5% Alcohol. New French Oak, aged 20 Months
(Bottled without filtration to preserve nuance & vineyard fidelity.)
Effortless & graceful, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon delivers ripe Bing Cherry aromas with a hint of allspice. The palate flows elegantly from the black raspberry to blueberry, matching ripe fruits with notes of earth & spice. A study in sophisticated grace, this wine can match any Italian or French Grand Cru as a worthy representation of the Napa Terroir. Excellent cellar potential!
